Scenario Girl is written by Lisa Herrod, Founder and Principal User Experience consultant at Scenario Seven.

The site focuses on web usability, user research, usability testing, accessibility and standards focused design

Scenario Girl is definitely an industry focused blog, you won’t find personal posts and web memes here. I write about things that grab my attention (for good or bad), things I find interesting and things I think are worth passing on.

The best way to contact me directly is via Twitter where I’m @Scenariogirl. Alternatively, you can email me directly: ‘Lisa’ at this domain. If you’re interested in talking about something in particular, do email :)

About the name

Writing scenarios is reasonably regular part of my work, but rather than be the reason I chose Scenario Girl, it was more the decider. That bit will get clearer in a minute, hopefully. Anyway, I’ve always been a big “what if..?” sort of person. So much so that when I was a teenager, my younger sister would frequently say, “you’re such a scenario woman!”. Later at uni in a couple of UX project roles some friends coincidentally gave me the nickname Scenario Girl, and so when it came time to name the blog, it just sort of stuck.

A huge thanks to Adam Cooper of Laural for such a cute illustration of Scenario Girl, people just love her!
